How Dryzone Works

Developed in the U.K. in 2000, DRYZONE has now been used in Australia since 2003 with 100% success over hundreds of applications including heritage listed buildings.

  • Environmentally friendly. Dryzone is environmentally friendly as it is a water-based cream carrier to get the chemicals into the wall instead of the traditional paraffin based solvent which it has superseded.
  • Best Value. Dryzone is injected into pre-drilled holes with a specially designed hand pressure application gun and can be applied up to three times faster than traditional methods which saves $ on labour costs.
  • Safe. Dryzone contains no volatile chemicals and is completely safe. A house in South Australia being treated with the paraffin based solvent method was demolished by an explosion due to poor safety procedures by the installer.
  • Least Disruptive. Dryzone can be applied up to three times faster than traditional methods which not only saves $ on labour costs but is completed quicker, minimising disruption to the householder. As there are no unpleasant smells, all rooms treated, including bedrooms, are habitable the same day.
  • No Mess. Dryzone is not injected under pressure eliminating the risk of damage to carpets and floor covers caused by spillage common with liquid injection fluids.
